Milk Thistle: Background

Milk Thistle is a flowering plant that grows in the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Middle East. It has been used for centuries as a liver tonic, and is said to improve liver function. Silymarin works by changing the structure of the outer membrane of the liver cells, and preventing poison from entering those cells. It also stimulates the regeneration of damaged cells. Other affects? Some of the other affects it has are cleaning the kidneys and ensuring better urination, helping to clear skin, and softening kidney stones. It also helps to reverse alcohol damage. Tests have shown that having treatment with Silymarin resulted in an 80% improvement and regeneration of the liver. Where can I get it?
