I never leave the house without a coupon.  I'm always armed with a bevvy of coupons because I simply refuse to pay full price.  Why pay full price when I can go online or check my Sunday paper for coupons.   Did you know Kmart has a Friends and Family event all day this Sunday November 4th.  Simply head to this link here and print off a 10% coupon.  Bonus member will also get 5% in points when using their Sears card.

We're definitely going to the Kmart sale event with coupon in hand, simply because we'll need to get out of the house.  We live 1 hour north of Philadelphia and was in Hurricane Sandy's path on Monday.  We are one of the more fortunate to not have lost our lives, home or livelihood, but we have been without power for 4 days now.  The hearsay is Monday November 5th for our power to come back.  So we've all been a bit ansty and I'm sure by Sunday we'll need a break from the house!  

I'm a planner and saver, so I'm looking forward to using this coupon and stacking it up with a sale to stock up on Christmas gifts.  With the money saved, I'm actually going to donate it to The American Red Cross, simply because it could have easily been our family stranded by high tides, or a tree could have come crashing down on us during the hurricane.  Now I have a better appreciation of what the American Cross do because they have set up a shelter at our local high school for those in need.  I'm sure their stocks are depleted in the PA, NJ, DE and NY area in just these last few days.
