Review: Transformers Beast Wars- Season One on DVD
My son is a big Transformers fan, he watches the cartoons and he has many of the toys and if you think about it Transformers are pretty cool as they are two toys in one, a robot and a vehicle in one. Consolidation on trips is a big thing for me. A weekend away tends to consist of a night of packing 10 bags, a huge bin of toys and cooler full of food. Whatever happened to get up and go. So now that Transformers Beast Wars Season One is out on DVD (Debut June 7th) I can just pack my sons transformers and the DVD on road trips and we're all good to go.
The Transformers: Beast Wars Season One features all 26 episodes and exciting bonus content in a 4-DVD set!
Here's a few clips to get excited about
Plus a slideshow of the characters

Review: Free Cube Dog App - it will be your new best friend
Thank you to Cube Dog for sponsoring this review. For more information about Cube Dog please visit the Facebook page or download it on iTunes.
Everyone remember the Tamigotchi? I had a yellow one when I was younger until I lent it to a friend to feed while I was busy with something and never saw it again ; ) There are a few interactive pet apps out there for those who do not want to deal with buying pet food or fancy walking a dog in the summer heat. With our busy lives we don't have a pet but excited to own a virtual pet, we checked out the FREE Cube Dogs, 3D app which offers interactive pets that you can customize to your hearts content - in fact you can select from more than 1.3 million possible puppy combinations. I like that you can choose your own color, nose eyes ears, feet and body.
The app is very interactive too and offers 3D graphics so you can zoom in, rotate and play with your dog (40 tricks to choose from) from any angle in the virtual playroom and even place your dog in the real world. Simply snap a picture of your Cube Dog dancing on your desk or sitting on your couch. Freak your friends out with your creative snapshots.
The app was super easy to navigate and the kids enjoyed building their own dogs, now if only I could get my phone back : ) Oh and I love I don't have to go and feed the dog regularly like the Tamigotchi. Its a fun app for when you are bored sitting on the train to work or have a few moments to surf the phone. Oh and did I mention it was FREE : )
Cube Dog is available on the following devices:
- iPhone 3GS
- iPhone 4
- iPod Touch 3rd generation
- iPod Touch 4th generation
** requires iOS 4.0 or higher

Help your kids reach the faucet with an Aqueduck Review
My kids are very energetic and independent and so in every bathroom there is a little kids stool so they can reach the faucet and wash their hands and face or brush their teeth by themselves. I'm looking forward to when they can reach the faucet and I can take the stools away. Of course I can't wait till they learn to keep the water in the sink and not end up on the floor..
Here's a solution to help my kids reach the faucet
This is an Aqueduck faucet extender
I love how installation is a no brainer and the concept "Oh another, why didn't I think of this invention myself"
The water is extended several inches, helping your little ones reach it all on their own. Its compact and lightweight design makes it great for on the go too! Aqueduck comes in colors for both boys and girls.

Knock out the fat with a George Foreman Next Grilleration Plate Grill
We grill all year round by using the outdoor grill during the warmer weather and George Foreman Grill during the cooler seasons. We use it to cook turkey burgers for lunch and grill vegetables for dinner. We've had our classic George Foreman lean mean fat reducing grilling machine for years and love it because it cooks a mean burger while keeping it healthy by draining out excess fat.
Check out George Foreman's "Knock Out the Fat!" new fat reduction claim here.
New results of independent testing show that the George Foreman Grill removes up to 42% of fat from quarter-pound burgers made with 80/20 ground chuck beef, translating to a reduction of approximately 89 calories per burger! Now who says we can't chow down burgers for lunch and dinner?
Check out the George Foreman Next Grilleration Plate Grill
Its time to upgrade to the George Foreman GRP4B Next Grilleration Plate Grill. I like the new sleek look and black color which fits in with my other appliances. The 72 square inch grilling surface lets me cook for 4. But best of all it has the removable 2 grill plates which slide off easily for easy cleaning. You can even place the grill plates in the dishwasher - yay. Of course it has the classic sloping grill design which allows fat to run off. The excess fat that is collected in the tray is wonderful feature that other grills do not have. Our 4 turkey burgers cooked just perfectly as it did on the George Foreman lean mean fat reducing grilling machine.

WHY WE SHOULD ALL COUPON
Life would be so simple if we all coupon
We would save money and with all the free and near free items that we could stockpile we could share with our family and help our neighbors and those less fortunate. Kids would find it cool to hang with Mom and Dad clipping or printing coupons and filling neat coupon wallets or writing deal scenarios, learning the value of money. With the savings we could save it for a rainy day or donate to worthy causes or worry less about the stock market. Maybe there would be peace as there's nothing to fight about with free food and water in abundance. Idealistic right? but you know its sure better than paying full price....
My message is a simple one nurture your children (our future) not only with food and water but with right and wrong, teach them respect and value, be accountable for their actions.
A poem written by our beloved Nephew at age 11 who was unjustly taken away from us on Memorial day at the age of 21. He touched so many lives at such a young age as an EMT and volunteer fireman which is a wonderful testament to his Mom and Dad who helped him reach his goal of being a fireman and helping others.
I am a wild boy who loves wrestlingI wonder if wrestling will still be around in the year 3000I hear the clouds swaying aboveI see the dodo bird runningI want to be famousI am a wild boy who loves wrestling
I pretend I'm a fireman that becomes a heroI feel my dog crying for helpI touch the dodo bird's furI worry if I'll dieI cry when I burn myselfI am a wild boy who loves wrestling
I understand that we will all die one dayI say I'll stay safeI dream of becoming a marineI try to help othersI hope we can make peace with othersI am a wild boy who loves wrestling
Life is short, make the most of your time and enjoy every minute with your little ones : )
