Review: Tom's of Maine Toothpaste

As a freebie junkie I do not typically pay for toothpaste. There is always a freebie deal at one of the 3 major drug stores and with a coupon it usually becomes a moneymaker. However, these toothpaste deals are always for the same brands. I always look longingly at Tom's of Maine brand toothpaste on the shelf and wonder. Well since I'm a Bzz Agent, my latest assignment is to report on Tom's of Maine new Toothpaste "Wicked Fresh" cool peppermint.

Provides long-lasting fresh breath, naturally

Comes in two minty fresh flavors, Cool Peppermint and Spearmint Ice

Contains Fluoride to help fight cavities

Does not contain alcohol or any artificial ingredients

Retails around $4.19 for a 5.2 oz tube

Available at grocery and natural food stores, pharmacies and big box stores e.g. Target.

My Review

I liked the new toothpaste - it wasn't so harsh tasting as my regular brands.  The price is a bit steep for me but if you are into natural, no animal testing, sustainable practice and environmental goodness then this brand packs it all in.  It was suggested I show off my fresh breath throughout the day by inviting my friends and co-workers to "take a whiff' - I'm afraid that was not going to happen - I would not inflict that on my worst enemy although it did a good job of banishing bad breath throughout the day.
