My Twinn a company that provides "The Just Like Me Dolls" creates one-of-a-kind personalized dolls designed to look like children ages 3-12 and therefore offers my daughter the opportunity to enjoy a doll that looks like her rather than the standard.    

The "Just Like Me Dolls" offers so much more than other like-brands because of the custom features - plus the poseable joints is a bonus.   These would make great pass down gifts because of the custom and keepsake quality.  Ordering is easy - just select eye color, skin color and hair color.  You can choose the hair length, texture and style, outfit and include freckles, moles or birthmark to the doll to match your child, plus you can electronically send or snail mail a picture of your child for futher accuracy. Looking at the promotional picture makes me want to go make my own custom doll. Be warned though, there are so many things you can buy for your custom or adopted doll e.g. matching clothes, accessories, pets etc.. that its probably cheaper to have that third child ; ) Since the Just Like Me Dolls are customed made, I was sent an adopt a friend doll for review to ensure inclusion into my Holiday Gift Guide. My daughter's eyes lit up when she met her adopted friend. We loved the poseable joints which makes this doll more life-like than others. My daughter immediately carried her new found friend around and showed her our home.
